What about making prized minor leaguer Fuentes into a closer? He has a very good fastball and emerging slider - just two pitches but that's all most closers use today for one inning. Just a thought.
I believe this would be the last case scenario with Didier. At just 20 years old, there is still way too much time left in his development to start looking at bullpen. I, personally, am a big believe in Fuentes. Great stuff and command will come with time. In two/three years though, you could be spot on.
