The question still remains: Why has Blewett been so quickly DFA'd by every team he plays for?
Outside of his last outing, he's looked great to me. I never understood why was he stuck on that "innings waste/extra innings" role. Why did he gey the short leash but Montero keeps at it?
It's either got to be some sort of "the dude's not great in the clubhouse" or it's a function of them not being invested in him because he was an in-season pickup, but again, I would have kept Blewett over Montero
Why do the Braves continue to prefer old, over-the-hill guys when they could have a young guy who - ok - had a bad outing? Rafael came in and did just as poorly, if not more so, than Blewett. ANY MLB team should be developing young simultaneous to assisting the older group be as good as they can be. The temperance of the two shows a well balanced management plan. From a management perspective, the Braves have the look of (i) financial incapable of financing top tier talent, and (ii) that there are competing "business plans" being executed simultaneously.
Honestly, the Kimbrel news breaking an hour after the game plus the quick DFA makes it seem like that was an emotional decision and that's the most concerning part of this whole thing to me

I was/am hoping for a lefty college arm starter. Someone nearly MLB ready.
But I've seen Riley Quick mocked to the Braves multiple times this spring. Has to be something to it.
Sorry about Auburn! Thought you'd had that to celebrate, since the Braves are giving us nothing. Another one-run loss...seems to be the theme of 2025.
It's not as much the loss, it's the "I was at the ballpark until 1:30 AM" part. Your boy is TIRED
