Let’s enjoy the great start to the Braves season and enjoy the misery of the Mets and Phillies! The Braves have a 5-game lead in the NL East. No other division-leading team in baseball has more than a 0.5 game lead.
The late, great Jack Bogle, founder of Vanguard, called regression toward the mean the "relentless rules of humble arithmetic.” Not to be Debbie Downer, but regression is coming. The Braves are playing 0.682 baseball. That is a 110-win pace. That is (most likely) not sustainable.
When we lose a game or a series (gasp!) or Walt makes a decision that we don’t agree with or doesn’t work out, let’s not lose our collective minds. Let’s just be thankful this isn’t 2025!

Yeah, I'm fully prepared for a lot of the current believers to fall back off the train at the first sign of struggle, but I'm bought in (and have been for virtually the entire offseason)
