Not Braves related but I just saw the Steep Canyon Rangers at their two day festival BirdFest and they put on a heck of a show with Don Flemons and Dan Tyminski (who had the best set I’ve ever seen)!
1. Agree that Strider, with slight diminished velocity, is becoming a real pitcher, not just a thrower.
2. Agree with calling Yaz's base running heads up. If Yaz continues to produce like he has in the past 10days, I may have to retract my prior assessment. Happy to do so .....but let's wait and see.
3. Agree with assessment of Dubon's great at bat to get a two strike, two out oppo hit and two RBI's. Now if Riley could adopt that approach and at least put the ball in play - I can barely watch when he gets two strikes - he has almost become a strikeout machine.
Alex Lodise hit homers #7 and #8 Thursday. He's cut the strikeouts to 27%
