I'm so glad your prediction was correct for the two pitchers.
I still very much wish you, or somebody, would create a comparative analysis of GM or Front Office decisions over time. Basically comparing trades, FA signings, player release and DFA decisions. Starting from 5 years ago would be highly interesting (and highly cringe-worthy for some GMs). I'm sure this would take some manpower, but AI might help.
Also, does he have a clause that requires him to swing at any pitch within two feet of the strike zone? Certainly, he has had a few big hits on non-strikes but how many more times has struck out or popped up on similar pitches?
Your metaphor to describe Bummer’s appearance was terrific. The verb you picked to describe the result was perfect. And the decision to not have a post-game podcast was outstanding. Braves stunk, but you were 3-3. Eating Bummer’s salary is a bitter pill to swallow, but action has to be taken. Not sure I agree with moving Ritchie back to the minors immediately. I trust the organization to figure out if the changes he needs to make are best done in Gwinett or with the Braves.
I completely agree with your assessment of Ritchie and Bummer and I hope your predictions of there departures is correct. Ritchie may yet be a back-end rotation guy but he's got some work to do in terms of command and consistency. Bummer's outing may have been the most non-competitive inning I've ever witnessed in MLB. Truly embarrassing and AA should share in the embarrassment.
Annnnd the Braves have made the two moves: Bummer has been outright released (no DFA), and Ritchie was optioned back to Gwinnett.
Also, sadly, Drake Baldwin went on the IL with a strained oblique

Speaking about contracts, does Ozzie have a clause in his contract that he doesn’t have to move when playing second base?

Solid analysis, as always!
