Yes, there was a lot NOT to like about last night except Mateo's two hits (scoring our only run) and Chris Sale. #1 is Austin Riley. He caught a grounder in fair ground, took two more steps prior to making and errant throw to 1st (look at Mateo's grounder in the hole for the way that SHOULD have been played). Then he closed his eyes and never tagged Angel Acuna at third. During one at bat he swung hard, as if the pitch were right down the middle of the plate; yet it was at least 18" - maybe more - OFF THE PLATE. Walt: quit embarrasing one of our stars of the past. He must sit.

Another one-run debacle. I guess we should be thankful this sort of game has been rare this year compared to the last two years where it was routine. Minor observation: Karinchak looked fairly competitive- could well be a back-end bull pen addition. Why has he been overlooked for the likes of older retreads?

I was told there were two reasons he hadn't been called up yet: first was them getting him comfortable and effective in back-to-back outings, followed by some fastball location issues that came up for him.

Since both of those have been resolved, now he is here and they are going to monitor his fastball velocity and locations to ensure he can keep both going

What are the Braves’ plans in dealing with their $18 million mistake?

Isiah Drake Went Off yesterday afternoon !!! Home runs #9 and #10. And a double. Hitters prefer Day Games.

I forget about him, focusing on Gil , Hartman and Southisene for the Rome Emperors.

Owen Carey is back for Rome. Had a double.
