Not sure if it’s how other managers operate but Snit seems to give fringe players a one or two shot chance to justify their spot. Maybe like Hector Neris in the early season. If this doesn’t make his mind up about Eddie then I’m super concerned. If not then it’s an early ish season attempt to make a change
Super Rosario will always be a Braves legend. It's just unfortunate that Snit has to tarnish that memory by keep putting him in spots when obvious better decisions could have been made. Literally doing nothing was a better decision here. (Probably the right one)
The Snit decision to pull White, especially for Rosario, and to include what he said in the post game recap, well, that speaks volumes. Here's a great homework assignment. Name who has made more 3rd outs this season, especially with runners left on base. There's actually two players in the running for that award.
Hey Lindsay, thanks for replying. I am trying to act in a more positive manner, but I obviously fail a lot. I ended up subscribing to you and this channel because you are truthful in your comments without trashing them. I follow the Braves more than any other team and/or sport, and I am a true fan, but sometimes certain things need to be discussed and I appreciate how you will discuss them when some won't. I want to make 1 comment about Murphy. He calls a better game than the other catchers so defensively, I think he is super strong. Offense is just not there. Putting a .200 hitter in the daily lineup is just so damaging to the team. Harris is damaging the team just as much or more. When a manager continues to put numerous players in the lineup who are struggling to keep a .200 average, the team is going to lose and lose, and the worst part about it is it brings the better players down. Something has to change. Harris may need a wakeup call at AAA. The other teams can't wait to play 3 or 4 players in the lineup who are hitting .200 or lower. That has to change if the Braves are going to be a winning team. Sorry for being long here.
You were long but you were right - it's very hard to be additive when batting .200 or worse unless you're doing multiple other things right. Even Kyle Schwarber hits homers and walks a lot. And I don't really know what the easy solution is right now. If Eli White is still raking when Ronald comes back, maybe Harris does need a reset but I still don't know if they would be willing to make that move.
Either way, something needs to change. They just have to start being better, and that's all there is to it.

Per Statcast, the Atlanta Braves players that have recorded the most third outs of an inning:
Michael Harris: 35
Matt Olson: 30 (#4 hitter - 8 of these have been in the first inning)
Marcell Ozuna: 30 (#3 hitter - 11 of them have been in the first inning)
Nick Allen: 29
Austin Riley: 29
Ozzie Albies: 28
Sean Murphy: 27
It seems to go in waves - I remember times when it was always Ozzie or Harris, but it feels like it's been Murphy a lot recently.

Hey Mike! Thanks for the kind words.

Don’t agree with your
managerial rant
I just think the decision was lacking nuance. I understand in a vacuum how sending the lefty up to face a righty makes sense, but not THIS lefty.
