What is this fascination with "Yastremski"?? Now you've got a .220 hitter (.234 lifetime) as a DH?? Didn't you watch tonight? Ronald's only a .250 hitter; Dom's as good as that. If you're not going to get a real power guy, then use it to "protect" your best pure hitter: BALDWIN. If you don't DH him at least half of the games, his 2026 BA, HR's, etc., will be diminished. If you don't get him under 60 games/year behind the plate, his career will see (i) productivity shortened, and (ii) time shortened. Don't use DH to sheild indiscriminately those prone to injury. Use it to increase the offensive ability of your team. .044 Kim and .220 Yaz are NOT the answer.

Before we had advanced stats, we used to call Perez’s outing good work by a crafty lefty veteran. He’s on-pace for 135+ innings with a sub-3.50 ERA. I would’ve never dreamed Braves would get that from him in April. An October start? Very scary.
