Tonight's game was hauntingly like a lot of games last year. As much as I'd like to have seen Suarez dazzle, he looked like one of the many DFA dudes from last year, a desperate attempt to fill a rotation slot. His 2nd inning with filling the bases with two walks and then plopping a change up middle/middle which allowed a weak hitter to blast one for a two run hit was so familiar.

Albies looked as bad as ever, swinging weakly at low or outside pitches resulting in his patented pop up or a two hopper to the second baseman. For someone who was supposed to be ready to light things up, Acuna looked pathetic - overmatched, actually, by third tier pitchers.

Even good teams have bad nights, but just as I had a glimmer of hope that maybe the embarrassment of last year was over, we get this to rudely bring us back to reality.
