Winning is sure a lot of fun - but I feel the Braves' starters, after Sale, are fragile. We're all looking forward with optimism to getting Schwellenbach and Waldrep back but we have to remember that most pitchers coming back from the IL take a while to get up to speed.
In his post game presser, Walt said they wanted to give several of the bullpen arms an extra day of rest and really pointed to the two outs Bryce got in the 7th as being pivotal in the game because it meant we only needed four outs from Suarez and only used two bullpen arms in the win.

I thought this game would be a SET-UP.
I expected Gausman to outpitch 'Blazin Bryce
How should we rank our starters ?
Chris Sale i would call him a #2 starter who sometimes pitches like a #1
Strider. I would call him a #3
Blazin Bryce. I would call him an innings eater workhouse #3
Martin Perez I would call him an overacheieving Backend Starter
Jury still out on the injured Waldrep, Schellenbach and Smith-Shawver
From what i know i would rank them:
Schellenbach
Smith-Sawver
Waldrep
