"Blazin" Bryce Elder had 18 called strikes and 12 swinging strikes.

His last start, Strider had 4 swinging strikes.

Already the top half of the league pays the bottom half "revenue sharing" to keep them afloat. And now Commissioner .Manfred wants to expand and give 2 more minor league cities a Major League Franchise.

Keep diluting that talent !!!

How well would Kim have to be in the last 22 Games to justify opting out?

That's the 16 million question. It would be a risk even if he's just fantastic for 22 games, but he also has an agent who is accustomed to taking those risks to get his guy paid.

There are other considerations here, as well. If he picks up the option, he enters the free agent market with a qualifying offer and into a lockout offseason
