I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due...
Yesterday in the series preview video, Lindsay said, "To win the series, the Braves probably need to win on Tuesday... They need to jump on Glasnow before he gets comfortable." And, son of a gun, if the Bravos didn't plate 3 runs in the 1st inning. Bryce gave us a quality start. The Lindsay Blueprint for success! Well done, Sir! Well done, Braves!
I’d really love for Ozzie to stay with the Braves his whole career, they should definitely pickup the option in my opinion and if they want to have some sort of succession plan that keeps him on the team but maybe not as the everyday second baseman or something I think that would be great. He’s definitely really important to the clubhouse and I’d just hate to see him playing for another team. The performance may not support doing that time will tell, but I’d really love it if he stayed a Brave.
I, too, will be interested in reading it...because since May Ozzie has had a 73 wRC+... just not good. The only argument I can see for an extension is a very team favorable contract. But, as I said, I am interested in reading it...
Bruce: did you see the throw from Acuna to Riley last night? It was almost spastic looking as his glove was in front of him, but the ball was another 12" to his left. I don't think if Riley caught it there would be a possibility of an out. But Riley looks like he needs glasses as much at 3rd base as he does at the plate.
The way Riley looks at the plate, I have wondered if he has seen an optometrist in the last 5 months. I sort of assumed an eye exam would be part of pre-spring training for the whole team.
Most strikeouts in a season for the Atlanta Braves? Acuna-188. Riley, Acuna and Murphy remind me of that movie, "Night of the Living Dead". Injured to death; used up. Milwaukee has Yelich, basically in the same shape. The baseball zombies are everywhere, not just exclusive to the Braves.

Thanks, John! Broken clock etc etc

Yeah, towards the end of the season I was going to write about what to do with Ozzie going forward and the cases both for and against an extension

Looking forward to reading it! He’s my favorite player, so I’m very biased toward keeping him!

Great win- the Braves stepped up.
1. I love the scoring by stringing multiple base hits together - very Brewers-like.
2. Weiss managed the bull pen brilliantly, bringing in Lee for the 7th to face Ohtani, Freeman, Betts (single), and Muncy - 3 out of 4 LH hitters.
3. What is the Brave's team record for strikeouts in a season? Austin, unfortunately, has to be getting close.
