Best game of the year. To come back from 3 runs down, playing in Philly, late in the game with Nola having been so dominant was incredible. Acuna's hit was the key, clearly, but to see Riley finally drive the ball to right field and drive in a huge run was a real pleasant shocker.

It was also sweet to see Dylan Lee back in form and decrease the concern that he was hurt.

I’ve always liked the emotion Acuna shows when playing baseball. But I have wondered if it can be a team distraction or provides too much fuel to the opposition. And I was concerned after Wheeler’s comments and recent history with the Phillies, especially in Philly. Then… BOOM!! No more concerns. You be you Ronald. I’m all in. I hope you’re in a Braves uniform for your entire career.

Last time i looked, JR Ritchie had 15 strikeouts in 6.0 innimgs.

Maybe the other team was drinking.

Just a reminder… Mattingly was the manger of the Marlins in August 2018. If we see a repeat of the targeting of Acuna tomorrow or next week, MLB needs to hand down big-time suspensions and fines to the pitcher(s) involved and to Mattingly. League officials should make some calls now to put Don on notice. That was contemptible behavior by Marttingly’s team and while he of course denied being involved, it happened more than once.

The Phillies postcast was hilarious. Although his prediction that even if we sweep the ATL series he’ll take pleasure in “BTA” in a playoff series. That stung a bit.

Until we beat them in the playoffs, we're going to have to listen to that sh*t... and I like Marc. I think he does a great job on the Locked on Phillies postcast. He's funny and when the Phillies don't play well, he calls them out for it - like the 7 straight fastballs to Acuna.
