Walt has made good decisions all season so a move that backfired is to be expected. But…. Why is Carrasco on the roster? This is the second game he has cost the Braves. I’m sure he’ll be released (and probably clear waivers again) when Kinley is ready. When Kinley went on the IL, Braves should’ve brought up Harris. Let him get the experience and start figuring out if he has a role. He has options and you’re likely to need him this year. And AA will know how high a priority another arm (hopefully left-handed) for the bullpen is at the trade deadline.

The losing isn’t on AA and the starting rotation isn’t the problem. Look at the starters other teams are using - the Phillies and Dodgers used openers and bullpen games this week. This is on the everyday players that have started to perform below and well-below expectations. It doesn’t matter who AA gets or doesn’t get in a trade, if the everyday players don’t start scoring runs on a consistent basis this team is going nowhere. We know the roll-call.

Agree - but if AA doesn't know by now how badly another reliable arm is needed in the pen, we have little hope.

With a rotation of Elder, Ritchie, Holmes, and Perez, maybe AA should also be looking at starting pitching too

Totally true - AA seems to think he can cobble together a DFA deal that will take care of problems. His getting Suarez was terrific but most folks knew that wasn't going to be enough.

When the wheels begin falling off, it is "team participation", including the coach. Glad for Harris, Dubon, though.
