I could see Verdugo looking good in AAA and us flipping him right before the opt-out date if we don't anticipate needing him
It's a good signing. Getting a guy for $1.5M who put up 0.6 WAR is a great deal. I'm not sure how much play time he'll get, but I agree with Paul that it could be a fix and trade, similar to what happened to Yuli Gurriel last season.
