I agree with you, Bruce! Bring him up, let him pitch in some low leverage situations and see what he's got. We know what the other guys are, at this point.
Great stuff Lindsay! To address the 40 man roster issue, can they move some guys to the 90 day IL? Or can / should they release Jimenez? I’d like to see the Braves use a bullpen spot to get reps in the majors for Burkhalter, Karinchak, Munoz, Harris and maybe other optionable arms, but the organization has a strong preference for veteran arms.
The only remaining 60-day IL moves are ReyLo and Suarez, and both are expected back soon.
I could see them DFAing someone like Vanasco, who they just claimed off waivers a few days ago, or someone who doesn't appear to be in the plans like Hayden Harris.

I was hoping Cedric DeGrandpre would get the September call up. BA recently named him as having high Fantasy Value.
But his last few starts have been mediocre. When he's "on" he get about 1.3 strikeouts per inning.

I'd like to see Karinchak added back before Lopez. But to loose Burkhalter because you kept Dom? No. I agree.
