Sign Jorge Mateo to a minor league deal with an invite to St.
He gives you a guy that can cover 3infield spots, is a legit SS, can spend some time in the OF if needed. Also far more importantly gives you an elite PR off the bench that can swipe a bag late even when everybody knows he's running.
A far more important skill than being some positionlesd power bat off the bench. Can't think of anyone that would fit better as the 13th PP.
I’ve actually been on the Mateo train before, but is a third shortstop that is only marginally faster than Eli White really a need here? Feels like you have everything he does already covered without using that roster spot.

Just read a report on Pinstripes Alley, i lthink, saying the price tag on Mackenzie Gore would be less than Edward Cabrera's.
Gore is someone i would pay for if Washington would deal in the Division.
