Yes. I remember. And that it would made more sense to wait for the enxt offseason to try to go for Cease or King, instead of trading for them this year.

Dylan Cease is a local boy, too, as the broadcast reminds us every time these two teams play.

I wonder if it's worth writing up something about the potential options and which player would make the most sense.

If the Braves don't change things up really soon, there'll be plenty of conversations to have about the posible moves they can make now and in the offseason, to prepare for 2026 and beyond.

I'd be really disappointed if, after staying under the tax this year, the Braves end up not going after someone(s) on that list you mentioned. My expectation of them staying under the tax is that they be able to have a more aggressive offseason next year.

True. I remember writing something over the off-season about the money and if they were resetting the tax from the perspective of " if they reset the tax, the penalties are less if they want to sign one of these qualifying offer players"

How can the Braves save money for a new parking garage for the front office ? Let's see we trade Ozuna or let him go to free agentcy ! Sorry about my spelling. The Braves fans will be find Baldwin and Murphy Will dh and the other will catch I just don't think the Braves will sign him again And the Braves need to go out and get a good starting pitcher for next year !
