Lindsay,

There's some yahoo on Youtube saying the Braves could trade Sean Murphy to San Diego for 34 year old lefty reliever Wandy Peralta and a gifted Dominican minor league reliever just turned 22 in November. I forget his name

It would free up Millions more if they wanted to get a starter. And add a Solid ground ball lefty reliever

Not to mention that 22 year old stud minor leaguer to our puny farm system

Bradley Rodriguez, the Padres #6 prospect from Venezuela. Right handed reliever. Back to full health. Lost 2 years to Elbow injuries, i believe

The likelihood of the Braves trading Sean Murphy is slim - he's not even healthy, so he couldn't pass a physical, and it'd be moving him at the absolute bottom of his value.

I think if money was really an issue (and it's not), they'd move Aaron Bummer before Sean Murphy

Well i'm happy.

If they didn't resign Kim, i would have just started a rebuild. Tear it all down.

Still might be facing a rebuild in a year or two.

I notice hedge fund managers are buying Braves Holdings stock at about $48 a share. So they like the Braves future earnings potential.

Wonder if they could build a Casino to compete with Steve Cohen ?

I really don't think there's either the space around Truist Park or the political will tlfor legislation to approve gambling.

Likely just banking on improvement from the team leading to greater financial return

I'm in. Keller would be a great pick-up and I would keep him in the pen for mid to late inning use in tight games.

Lindsay - another article with great insight. Your pitching breakdowns are outstanding. You are the best! Braves can never have too many good arms, but in regards to a guy like Keller, the question I have is: “compared to what?” Not so much compared to a proven FA starter, but compared to internal guys with options. Still a little early in the off-season, but would appreciate your thoughts on how to construct a staff for 2026. In my view, that has to be a realistic expectation that they will need multiple arms to move up and down to the minors. How do we compare internal arms with options to non-option guys? The guys in the minors need to be the 7th & 8th starters, the next middle-inning relievers, etc. Otherwise it’s back to 2025’s waiver wire roulette, which was awful.
