Lineups, pitching matchup, bullpen status, and what to watch this afternoon
Jorwin Pulido, the 17 year old Venezuelan catcher. went 2 for 4 thursday for the FCL Braves. 2 doubles and a walk.
He DH'ed today. I just wonder if Jorwin is gonna stay at Catcher. He's played DH in the DSL and now the FCL.
He is the kind of superior athlete and hitter that teams don't like to see burnt out at Catcher.
I know it would go against traditional thinking but I’d rather have Farmer in there today than Dom Smith. I appreciate Smith’s contributions early this season but it looks like the clock struck midnight there.
Or at minimum would have been a good day to give Riley a day off and start Farmer at 3rd
I 100% agree with you on Farmer, and I specifically asked for that on social media before the lineup came out
It would be nice if we would just grab the low hanging fruit more often
