Lineups, pitching matchup, bullpen status, and what to watch this afternoon
Baseball America (an others) think the Braves had a below average Draft.
Not a bad Draft. But just not what it could have been. I know they're targeting #26.
But they don't seem to give them as much credit for 3rd rounder Hirsh. Maybe because they paid him $ 4 million.
We must be reading different things over at BA - the draft review they dropped on Wednesday had Hirsch as their favorite pick. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/atlanta-braves-2026-mlb-draft-review/
I saw one online site that "graded" all 30 drafts.
I remember Braves were 25th.
Milwaukee was 30th. 24 higher grades.
Just go online looking for MLB Draft Grades. Think for yourself.
"Final Thought
Braves are favored in the n, as they are in virtually"
Lindsay, not sure what word the n was supposed to be...but pretty clear it wasn't what you intended.
It was supposed to be "opener" - gosh darn dumb mistakes
At least you know I'm reading, right? LOL
