How sure are we that we are going to stick to around $55m? Honestly, the trade for a starter option looks good if you add Andujar as the bat but that will be around another ~$7m AAV.
Great presentation of complex information, Lindsay. I don't claim to know which route is the best but given the ever-advancing age of the Braves'core players and the likelihood of a shortened '27 season, my feeling is they need to go all-in for '26. AA has overseen this entire franchise degradation including the minor league system and to try and put together a quality playoff roster while preserving the few studs they have in the minors and the draft picks seems very unrealistic. They owe us something to cheer about in '26 after their shortsightedness brought us the misery of '25.
If I were to do any pricing changes, any existing subscriber would be grandfathered in.
I'm contemplating turning the paywall on next spring and doing a sale before a price change at that time, but we'll see what happens. Need to figure out if that's worth it or not
That's where I am, too. Don't pop a QO and I've got some draft thoughts coming in Friday's prospect notebook to share about how they can get more impact out of day three, stealing a strategy that I've seen only one other MLB team using right now.
Blessings to you Lindsay, as reading your reports are a highlight of my mornings. Your thorough research and analysis is always appreciated and your passion for our favorite team is much needed positive energy in a world that definitely needs more of it. Thank you so very much for making our world a little brighter with each report.

We're not, honestly. They could spend more, or they could spend less

This is a once in a decade chance to rebuild our farm system. Keep our Draft Picks.
That $500,000 can buy a hell of a Latin pitching prospect in January 15, 2027.
Really enjoying your newsletters and podcasts Lindsay.
Keep it going even if you need to bump up prices.

Got to have some money after round 10. Teams like Yankees
and Dodgers alwsys have money for rounds 11-20 to find value. $150,000 plus. whatever they managed to "squirrel away"
